I love rocks and soil. The way they nestle together and provide the foundation beneath our feet...
layers and layers...the geological strata of our earth. Join me to create a Clayboard painting that replicates
a "cut away" look at the land. Using Wood Icing and other textured media we will build layer after layer of interesting
texture and learn to work each to its best advantage. Using a limited earthy palette we will create interesting neautral
plus learn to increase depth with shadows and highlights in our work. No painting experience is necessary, step by step
instruction is provided. Includes everything -paints, inks tools, clayboard - if you are a painter, you may want to bring
brushes, but it isn't necessary.
Classes are held in the studio/workshop of the Wood Icing Store at Chesterfield Mall.
